Looking for a gift for that “hard to buy for” person? Recently won the lottery and can’t think of anything to buy? We ran across Gresso Mobile Phones that may be right up your alley. Sold only from authorized dealers (no Amazon.com orders) in Europe, Gresso has introduced a small collection of Windows Mobile phones that bring new meaning to the phrase “sticker shock” and makes the Sony Xperia look like a drop in the bucket.
The companies latest is the Avantgarde Skeleton which sports a sapphire glass back which will allow you see the internal circuitry. The titanium alloy case includes the Gresso logo covered with 10 micron gold. Sporting Windows Mobile 6.0 Standard (What, no 6.1?!) the GSM phone also sports a 2MP camera and is Bluetooth capable. Supplies are limited to only 15 with a modest price tag of $5,000.
Other models in the Gresso collection include the Avantgarde Gold which accented with gold keys, screws and two hundred year old African Blackwood; the White Diamond which incorporates diamonds in the keys that are accented with gold; and the Avangarde Steel Collection which utilizes the two hundred year old African Blackwood with stainless steel housing and accents. Each of these collections are of limited production with no pricing information available. I guess if you have to ask, the question of price is probably moot.
