Turns out Google has had their ear to the street when it comes to what the customer wants. Google now syncs with Outlook and (by extension) Windows Mobile. The new download features include 2-way sync so both your Google calendar and Outlook sync with each other. There’s the 1 way export in which Google calendar sends its data only to Outlook. Last but not least is the ability to 1 way export from Outlook to Google calendar.
Where does Windows Mobile come in, you ask? Well, if you have Active Sync with Exchange server then the updates will occur automatically over the air as long as you leave the Sync App going. If not -- then it looks like you will have to use the good old fashion cable to keep your device in sync.
This is great if you are a Google calendar fan. Syncing Outlook calendar to Google calendar is nothing new. We have been able to do it through third party apps for a small fee, but now that its free we might see a lot more people hopping on the Google train. Also-- word of contact sync is in the air but nothing official as of yet.

The contact sync thing really bugs me. They can't do it with Mac either -- Google has sort of dropped the ball lately with interoperating. Their IMAP support is still wonky for me too.
