We mentioned that Motorola wasn’t doing too good a while ago. As of today it’s still pretty bad. We thought the only company that could do worse would be Sprint, but Motorola proved us wrong. Motorola will be cutting their research labs by 300 and putting a halt to projects. Folks -- this is not how you create a follow up to the RAZR.
At this point Motorola is just trying to stop the bleeding and it looks like the only way to do it is to cut some jobs. At this point, we're pretty sure that it won't be long before their core business is repairing those cable modems of yours.
