T-Mobile Dash

Maybe it’s just because of our recent pining (and podcasting) for Windows Mobile Standard, but we had a brief moment of excitement when the Boy Genius Report teased us with what appeared to possibly be an update to the venerable T-Mobile Dash.

But, alas, it’s not to be. Turns out it’s “simply a color refresh that should be trickling into T-Mobile stores.”

Too bad. But as long as we’ve got visions of non-touchscreen phones dancing in our heads, here’s what we were hoping to see: A new Dash with updated specs all around (memory, CPU and the like), a 1700 MHz 3G radio, plus Windows Mobile 6.5 and UMA support for T-Mobile @ Home.

How’s that sound to you guys?
