Yes, just a placeholder, at 55 mb. When extracted, it appears to be an update for the Q9m, as Q9m appears in the file name. When you do install it, it says the update software itself is out of date and performs an update. Afterwards, when you try to run the software, it will tell you there are no updates for your phone.

So do you think that the Treo 750 will get the 6.1 update, or will we just have to wait for the 850? I know there are a ton of "special mix" roms out there but is an official one possible?

If some of use are using Facade and extreme txt to handle homescreen customizing and threaded txt is it worth the hassle to upgrade?
It doesn't affect me yet because I am on verizon :)

You're waiting on AT&T. Moto has had the AT&T customizations done for quite some time. They're just waiting on AT&T to give the go ahead to release them.

The Place holder is false. The name of the phone is changed through changing a value of the string in the URL called strPhone go to the url but change strPhone to whatever you want and you find an update for that phone. ex. http://direct.motorola.com/hellomoto/motosupport/source/SoftwareUpdateSummary.asp?country=USA&language=ENS&web_page_name=SUPPORT&strCarrierId=ATT&strPhone=BMill&strCable=Ethernet

It is not false, you'll note in the string you put ATT but it returns AT&T. You can put what ever model phone you want. The link is for ALL Q9 phones. If you take time to extract the files you'll find a q9h firmware directory, but it happens to be blank.
