Sprint hasn’t worked out their MMS kinks (as Malatesta pointed out) just yet, but already they want to set up a beta for "Visual Search." Wazzat? You take a photo and then send it as an MMS to Thrrum and it will read the text and return relevant search results to you via SMS. Sprint plans to team up with Thrrum in order to offer this service to their users free of charge -- during the Beta period, anyway. For everybody else it's currently $5.99 per year.

I think Sprint has a good idea here. ...Good idea, but I don’t think their photo services are ready to venture out just yet. I think they should first fix the leaks in their current photo service and address the problems that they have now. What kind of leaks? Oh I don’t know, maybe getting Windows Mobile users an official fix first?
