Maybe it’s just our good fortune that Palm has bad plumbing, 'cause we got leaks all over creation these days on the Treo 850 front. First there were the leaked pictures of the Treo 850. Now there's we have the leaked specs from TamsPPC to boot. Here we go:
- 14 mm in thickness, width 60 mm and length 113 mm
- GSM, EDGE and UMTS HSDPA 3.6
- assisted-GPS receiver
- Wi-FI b/g
- 320*320 screen, touch panel
- micro-SD slot under the battery
- 2 MP camera
- 1500 mAh battery
- a micro-USB connector for both power and sync
- bluetooth 2.0 EDR + A2DP, 256 MB NAND-Flash (> 175 MB for user), 32 MB SDRAM
- Windows Mobile Pro 6.1.
Interestingly, besides a few things -- the GSM radio and the surprisingly anemic 32mb of SDRAM -- these specs are similar to the Treo 800w's. The inclusion of GPS (not autonomous though, boo) and WiFi were to be expected, anything less on what looks to be Palm's flagship device this year would have resulted in universal jeers.
Is anyone else having a difficult time believes that Palm was able to cram all that in something only 14mm thick -- especially a 1500mAh battery?
Thanks to surur for the tip!

add to delicious

32mb RAM? i smell a little fishiness on these specs since the guy being quoted on the other forum was asked about it and couldnt give an answer (was basically "my dogs best friend told my brother who told me" story). These could easily be found anywhere in a number of "leaks/guesses."
Theres no possible way there would be 64mb ram in it. Its has to be 128mb+
1500mah battery in a device the same thinness as the Sprint Touch plus all those extras?
Some stuff doesnt add up very well and seems regurgitated from other speculation posts.
