I hated not being able to surf the web in the background while checking my calendar on a PalmOS device.

Palm admits they don't multitask well, they are busy developing a Springboard module to support it, though.

I was gonna get a Treo 680. Then I remembered that I'm not a 5-year-old and can read books without pictures. Treo 750 it is, then.

Your Palm's built-in applications are so dull, they're on physicians' recommendations lists for bland diets. (Fortunately, there are tons of third party apps which can provide a cure.)

Micro$oft Windows Mobile is really bad. But I didn't find one reason to switch, so PalmOS is even worse!

The Palm OS may be old and showing it's age but for me my Palm TX and company issued Treo 600 work great. I really don't miss multitasking too much with the exception when reading E-mail that contains a URL. If I click on it Blazer will open the URL but when I'm done it won't find it's way back to the E-mail. Outside of that issue PalmOS works great for me. Both are stable and the only complaints for the Treo is the 160x160 screen and the slower processor but mostly the tiny screen.
