Do-gooder Monday: Vote for an official Google Voice app; join 'Take Back the Beep'

We're prepping a piece on a couple of third-party Google Voice apps for Windows Mobile, but isn't it time Google puts out one of its own? And so we join with our smartphone brethren in calling for for one. Click the pic above to hit up Google's suggestion page, then suggest an official Windows Mobile app.

And while we're in a PSA/Rage Against the Machine sort of mood, check out David Pogue's "Take Back the Beep" campaign.

Because knowing is half the battle.

I have a funny feeling the Google is deliberately moving away from Windows Mobile (err..Phone) product support and development.

Heres a copy and paste from my post on ppcgeeks tread.

Magicall seems to be the best solution, i'v tryed all the others. and i even payed for gvdailer.. and now i regret doing it because.. magicall is better at doing the same thing... anyway... thats not why im writeing in this thread.

Method Number 1: (Paid) Get MagiCall HERE!. Install and start program. Copy the attached file to /device/my documents overwriting MG2RULE. Reopen the program GUI. It will ask if you want to load the new rules. Click Yes. Modify the rule called Google Voice with your info. (your phone number, leave the commas and then your pin. Leave the rest alone).
