HTC “Victor” - Diamond minus Diamond Backing
We have an unboxing of the HTC P3702, AKA the “Victor” from these folks [via MobileBurn]. It looks like it's essentially the HTC Diamond with a different, flat back that doesn't attract fingerprints like a black hole attracts light.
Folks hoping (against hope) that this is the CDMA version come early, take note: it's not. The front facing camera, Tri-band radio, and chipset all point to this just being a variant of the original Diamond. GSM Arena wonders about the RAM being slightly different, but we're guessing that's probably just mislabeling here. Still, here's a bright spot: we're expecting the CDMA Diamond to have the same basic styling on the back instead of the actual faceted back. It was a bold experiment, HTC, but we'd like to go home to our soft-touch-paint safety zone, okay?
