Alltel Touch by HTC - Video First Look

The HTC Touch on Alltel is identical to the Touch on Sprint, right? Wrong. Take a gander at our video first look to see why. Okay, Okay, here's a hint: the TouchFLO cube has four sides now - it's a real cube! Additionally, unlike the Sprint Touch, the TouchFLO cube shortcuts are the right ones -- they point to the standard Windows Mobile apps, the Alltel-specific shortcuts are on the added 4th side of the cube.

The Touch is so tiny and so powerful, it's no wonder that HTC is selling these things by the millions.

Does the Alltel version have the same storage card corruption issues??? My Sprint Touch is getting ridiculous...

@surur - Actually, I thought of that, but how would you make a natural gesture to swipe to those. I guess if there were a physical button or something to turn it on..

@bigbradbad - I don't know, actually, but I would suspect that it would have the same issues - besides the ephemera of what software is loaded on there, it's basically the same device

Yeah, the Touch is an underrated device. With the right Apps, it can be an iPhone killer (pointui). I love my Sprint Touch... after some heavy customizing (read: de-sprint-app-ing)!
Sprint TV is probably the best TV app available though.
