Sony Ericsson Faith

Wait a minute ... What's this? An unannounced Sony Ericsson phone called "Faith?" DailyiPhoneBlog says it's part of SE's "GreenHeart" line (read: environmentally friendly). The specs:

  • 2.4-inch QVGA touchscreen
  • Windows Mobile 6.5.3
  • Qualcomm MSM7227 processor
  • 256MB RAM (probably the same for ROM)
  • aGPS
  • MicroSD
  • Quadband GSM (850/900/1800/900) and dual-band UMTS (900/2100)
  • Stylus
  • 3.2-megapixel camera
  • 3.5mm headphone jack
  • stereo Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR

More pics after the break. (Thanks, Daniel!)

Knowing how SE works, I guess this device will be available about 2012 christmass....Still waiting for Xperia X10, X2,...

I want it... I want it now!!!

It looks so so, but I just can't stand smaller screens now. My eyes aren't that good to begin with.

It's not like manufacturers actually give us larger text when they use larger screens. They just jack up the pixel count so they can squeeze in more lines of microsopic text.

SE could have done much better hardware wise. Unfortunately they seem to be set on portraying WM in as bad a light as they can by producing lacklustre hardware and will no doubt use the resulting poor sales to dump WM altogether. Not that much of a loss actually, all things considered.

I MADE IT!
My time capsule finally works!
Though, in 'my' 2006 it was Motorola producing these devices.
May be I still need to do some fine tuning on the temporal inversion matrix...
However, its nice here!

Sorry, couldn't help myself, but why on earth is SE bringing such a device to market? In 2010! The Treo Pro is greatly superior and available for below 200$.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

they couldnt even be bothered to redesign the back - its exact same as the x2 - and like the x2 this is never gonna be released

That keyboard looks really uncomfortable too...

All people really care about is whether it is intuitive or not and if they like the form factor. If this thing is priced right and works nicely people will buy it. A very good example is the blackjack.

Yet another QWERTY-bar phone without softkeys. Again, makin touchscreen use mandatory isn't good on devices with screens this small!

That aside, this device is UGLY! The keyboard reminds me of the Nokia E61. Yuck!
