Nothing else about the “display web content in zoomable tiles instead of traditional browser windows” idea has changed if their snazzy flash demo is to be believed. What is different (and what's actually news here) is that they're finally going to be offering a public beta on December 14th.

Two exiting bits of browser news to share today. Minimo, the Mozilla-based browser for Windows Mobile, has been updated to 0.2. That's a tiny version number, but it's not a tiny set of features you'll get. The previous version of Minimo was well-nigh unusable (for me, anyway), so I hope this one is better. This browser comes from Bangalore, from a company calles Jataayu (no, I don't know how to pronounce that, ethnocentric git that I am, but my best guess is that it rhymes with Atreyu). The browser is called jB5, and it uses something called "Adaptive Rendering Technology" (ART) to fit pages to your screen.

Access, they who put the final nail in the coffin of PalmOS’s “Cobalt” OS, provides us with a “technical preview” of their venerable (but pretty nice!)... Looks like some nice improvements here, like zooming out of a page and zooming back in, thu NetFront Browser v3.4 for Pocket PC was developed based on standard Internet protocols and supports the latest standard markup languages: HTML (HyperText Markup Language), XHTML (eXtensible HyperText Markup Language), and WAP2.0 (WML1.3).It also can display pages to which CSS (Cascading Style Sheet), ECMAScript (JavaScript), DOM (Document Object Model), or DHTML (Dynamic HTML) has been applied, and provides powerful features similar to a PC browser. Please evaluate this Technical Preview (TP) version and give us your feedback.

David Ciccone of Mobility Today posted a little video of **Deepfish**, what looks to be a nice little browser. It apparently makes it dead simple to zoom in and out of a webpage that's rendered in a standard way for a desktop, an implementation that is definitely compelling.
