Verizon HTC Touch Diamond

It's release date rumor day here at WMExperts, and the latest nugget surrounds Verizon and the long-awaited release of the HTC Touch Diamond.

The Boy Genuis Report says that the Diamond finally (FINALLY) will see the light of day on April 10 -- that's this Friday!

Better late than never, we guess, and we'll go ahead and through out our prediction for the Touch Diamond 2: Verizon will get it on May 2, 2010; the rest of the world will get it in the next couple of months.

128 MB RAM? are you kidding me? Id take the touch pro over this thing any day...and thats anemic at 198 MB...when will vzw realize that RAM is a good thing?

All of the reports of 128 MB Ram are wrong.

It has 192 MB of RAM just like the VZW Touch Pro.

k...that makes more sense

Whoa - is that a misprint at the top? Forget the memory typo. If true, they'll release the Diamond on April 10 and the Diamond 2 a few weeks later on May 2? Elsewhere the price was $200 on plan for the Diamond, so a little premium for the "2" would be acceptable. I'm skeptical, but releasing the Diamond 2 shortly would be a most excellent strategic move and would definitely dull the luster of the next iPhone. Lets hope this is not mere wishful thinking!!!
